What You'll Do

As a PRN Mental Health Technician, you'll work alongside nurses, therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals to create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for our adolescent residents.

Your day may include:

Building positive, therapeutic relationships with youth
Supervising daily activities and ensuring resident safety
Teaching healthy coping skills, communication, and life skills
Encouraging positive behaviors while serving as a role model
Assisting with meals, hygiene, recreation, and daily routines
Documenting observations and resident progress
Supporting therapeutic programming and group activities
Using verbal de-escalation techniques (and physical intervention only when necessary—we provide all required training)
Helping create an environment where healing can happen

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who genuinely care about helping others.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, education, social services, juvenile services, childcare, or direct support

  • College coursework in psychology, counseling, social work, criminal justice, nursing, education, or related fields

You may be a great fit if you are:

Schedule

This is a PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling.

Available shifts include:

  • ️ Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend availability is encouraged.
