Responsibilities
- Perform intake assessments
- Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client
- Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport, and demonstrate empathy
- Adhere to all facility and licensing standards
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must possess and maintain licensure
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
- Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
