Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking compassionate, skilled, and patient-centered Mental Health Therapists to provide high-quality behavioral health services to a diverse client population in New Jersey.
As a member of our growing clinical team, you will provide individual, family, and/or group therapy services while collaborating with psychiatric providers and other healthcare professionals to support clients on their mental wellness journey. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based care, values collaboration, and is committed to empowering clients to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.
This position is ideal for a bilingual Haitian Creole-speaking therapist who is passionate about increasing access to quality mental health services within underserved communities. The selected clinician will provide both in-person services in Perth Amboy and virtual therapy sessions, offering flexibility while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Work Location & Schedule
This position offers a flexible hybrid model with a combination of onsite and telehealth services.
- Providers would provide onsite services in Perth Amboy, NJ, a minimum of two (2) days per week.
- The remaining schedule may be conducted virtually, based on provider preference, patient needs, and scheduling availability.
- Flexible scheduling options available.
- Opportunity to build and grow a consistent caseload through both in-person and virtual services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Identify behavioral health diagnoses and treatment needs.
- Develop individualized, measurable, and evidence-based treatment plans.
- Monitor treatment progress and modify interventions as clinically appropriate.
Therapeutic Services
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services as appropriate.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and other clinically appropriate interventions.
- Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and wellness goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary.
Collaboration & Care Coordination
- Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, care managers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams.
- Participate in clinical consultations, case reviews, and treatment planning discussions.
- Coordinate referrals and connect clients with community resources and support services.
Documentation & Compliance
- Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Maintain treatment plans, progress notes, assessments, and discharge summaries in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards of practice.
Professional Development & Quality Improvement
- Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and quality improvement initiatives as applicable.
- Maintain all required licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in mental health treatment.
Qualifications
Education
- Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
Licensure
Candidates must hold an active New Jersey license or associate license in good standing, including but not limited to:
Language Requirement
Fluent in Haitian Creole and English (Required).
Many of the individuals and families we serve are Creole-speaking, and the ability to provide culturally responsive care and communicate effectively in both languages is essential.
Candidates must be able to:
- Conduct clinical assessments in Haitian Creole and English.
- Provide therapy services in Haitian Creole and English.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete documentation in accordance with clinical and organizational standards.
Experience
- Experience providing behavioral health counseling or psychotherapy services preferred.
- Experience working with diverse populations in outpatient or community-based settings preferred.
- Experience providing telehealth services preferred.

Compensation
This is a Fee-for-Service position with a rate of $30-$40 per session, commensurate with experience, licensure level, credentials, and clinical expertise.
Employment Structure & Growth Opportunities
All new providers begin with 1099 Independent Contractor status, allowing flexibility while becoming familiar with our patients, programs, and clinical workflows.
After a 90-day review period, providers may be considered for transition into a part-time or full-time W-2 position based on:
- Clinical performance and quality of care
