What You’ll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments for inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on assessments
• Document treatment activities accurately in healthcare records
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions within a correctional environment
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive inmate information
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care delivery
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and theories

What You Need

• Valid driver’s license and Social Security Card for facility clearance
• Relevant mental health licensure and certifications
• Experience conducting mental health assessments and providing counseling in a correctional or similar setting (at least 1-2 years preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work within correctional health care protocols and confidentiality standards
