Mental Health Therapist – Leavenworth, KS | Inpatient Psychiatric Facility

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct mental health screenings and assessments of inmates through record review and clinical interviews
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on clinical needs
  • Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support
  • Document assessments, treatments, and progress notes accurately in health records
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery
  • Address inmate mental health needs with professionalism and empathy

What You Need
  • Active KS LSCSW or LCPC license
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
  • Ability to perform assessments and deliver interventions in a correctional or inpatient setting
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • US citizenship required for ICE clearance (expedited process in place; clearance takes 4-6 weeks)
  • Open availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends
