What You’ll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and comprehensive assessments based on reviews and interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
• Document treatment activities and evaluations accurately in health care records
• Provide mental health counseling, assessments, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information
• Apply psychological counseling techniques and theories in individual casework
• Collaborate with facility staff to support mental health initiatives and inmate well-being

What You Need

• Valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in Michigan
• Prior experience in mental health treatment, preferably with inmate populations
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and crisis intervention
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
