About the Role:
Ujamaa Place in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join their mission-driven team. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide life-changing therapeutic support to individuals in a community-centered environment where your work truly matters.



Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based clinical approaches
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with case managers, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams to support client care
  • Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • Licensed in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LP, or LMFT preferred)
  • Experience providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care
  • Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities with empathy and respect
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
