About the Role:Ujamaa Place in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join their mission-driven team. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide life-changing therapeutic support to individuals in a community-centered environment where your work truly matters.
Responsibilities:- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based clinical approaches
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with case managers, community partners, and multidisciplinary teams to support client care
- Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed
- Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
Requirements:- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Licensed in Minnesota (LICSW, LPCC, LP, or LMFT preferred)
- Experience providing trauma-informed, culturally responsive mental health care
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities with empathy and respect
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
