    Opportunity Type: Independent Contractor (Fee-for-Service)

    Organization & Program Overview:

Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI), an affiliate of PHMC, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing specialized outpatient assessment and treatment services. JJPI is an experienced and qualified thought leader in the areas of sexual and interpersonal violence, PTSD, and other forms of trauma. JJPI has served the Delaware Valley since 1955 and is one of the few agencies in the country that offers a comprehensive approach to trauma by addressing the entire cycle of abuse.

JJPIs Survivor Services program provides high-quality outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced one or more traumas impacting their mental health. Clinicians utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including CBT, DBT, prolonged exposure (PE) therapy, and more. A combination of individual and group therapies is used in a supportive, person-centered framework. Treatment is highly customized and seen as a short-term focused intervention, building on the strength and resiliency of the client and their support system, to assist with improved functioning and community involvement. Survivor Services offers both in-person and telehealth services.
