Elementary Mentor Co-coordinator (grades PK-5)

Stipend $2,500

Facilitate the assignment of mentors.

Copies of the assignment letter are sent to the mentor, mentee, and Assistant Superintendent for Academics & Instruction.

Support the implementation and maintenance of a cohesive schedule for mentors and mentees that covers all essential topics in accordance with the district plan.

This involves integrating relevant mentoring content into new teacher orientation.

Facilitate mentor-mentee meetings to provide ongoing support and review of the mentoring process.

Agendas and attendance are to be provided to the Assistant Superintendent for Academics & Instruction each month. This includes the maintenance of monthly logged hours of training

Provide resources to mentors/mentees regarding emerging professional development themes.
Coordinate with the Assistant Superintendent for Academics & Instruction on the new teacher orientation program.
Facilitate/Organize/Set-Up mentor training.
