MENTORSHIP LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE ASSISTANT PROGRAM COORDINATOR
The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for Mentorship Leadership Experience Assistant Program Coordinator for the Division of Youth Opportunities (DYO) within the Department of Health and Human Services. Under the Direction of the Program Coordinator, the Mentorship Leadership Experience (MLE) Assistant Program Coordinator is responsible for working with the MLE Program Coordinator to develop the program, engage with families, and facilitate the curriculum of the MLE program. The MLE program is a free opportunity for youth ages 13 and 14 to gain the necessary skills to become a successful and effective community leader and youth worker. This position will lead and develop a group of 13-14-year-olds in a youth workforce readiness program. The MLE Assistant Program Coordinator will work with the Recreation Worcester staff to support the implementation of athletic, academic and arts programs for various age groups. This position will also work with community partners and other youth serving organizations to provide a holistic view of youth work opportunities to participants.

SALARY: $17.50 hourly, full-time, temporary, non-benefitted.
