MEP Engineer

This company has a rich history of delivering high-quality projects in various sectors, including K-12 education, public works, and healthcare. They are currently seeking a skilled MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Job Title: MEP Engineer

Location: Worcester / Central Massachusetts


Compensation:

  • Salary: $120K - $150K, based on experience
  • Benefits: Health, dental, vision insurance, PTO, and holidays


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage MEP systems for construction projects, ensuring they meet design specifications and safety standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any MEP-related issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and other stakeholders to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into overall project plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and field teams.
  • Review and validate technical drawings and specifications for MEP systems.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of MEP components.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into construction projects.
  • Previous experience as a Pipe Fitter or similar role is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites across Massachusetts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Open to both junior candidates with solid technical knowledge and seasoned professionals with extensive experience.
