MEP Superintendent

Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Mechanical Superintendent with strong mission critical data center and low voltage systems coordination experience to support hyperscale and enterprise data center construction projects across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supervising mechanical systems installation on Tier III / Tier IV / mission critical projects, with the ability to coordinate across MEP trades, controls vendors, and low voltage infrastructure teams in highly complex environments.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead all field-related mechanical construction activities for mission critical data center projects.
-Supervise subcontractors, field personnel, and vendors to ensure safe and quality execution.

Coordinate installation and startup of:
-HVAC systems
-CRAH/CRAC units
-Chilled water systems
-Pumps and piping systems
-Fuel oil systems
-Cooling infrastructure
-Mechanical equipment and controls

Coordinate closely with:
-Electrical teams
-BAS/BMS integrators
-EPMS systems
-Fire alarm contractors
-Security and structured cabling teams
-Fiber and low voltage contractors
-Review and interpret construction drawings, BIM coordination models, specifications, and commissioning documentation.
-Lead daily coordination meetings and resolve trade conflicts in the field.
-Ensure all work complies with project specifications, safety requirements, and mission critical quality standards.
-Monitor project schedules and support milestone-driven delivery.
-Support equipment startup, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and turnover activities.
-Maintain strong communication with project management, clients, and trade partners.
-Promote firm culture of safety, accountability, transparency, and operational excellence.
Qualifications

-Strong experience in mechanical construction supervision.
-Mission critical/data center experience required.
-Experience on hyperscale or enterprise data center projects strongly preferred.
