MEP Construction Superintendent
Lead Essential Building Systems Projects Across the Five Boroughs
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and local codes.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field labor.
- Maintain project schedules and communicate any field issues or design conflicts to the project team.
- Enforce site safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Lead subcontractor meetings and coordinate project activities.
- Maintain daily logs, project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and timesheets.
- Monitor multiple job sites and ensure deficiencies are corrected promptly.
- Assist with project planning, trade evaluations, closeout documentation, and post-occupancy repairs.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
- Prior field experience in plumbing, heating, HVAC, or MEP construction.
- Strong understanding of heating systems and construction trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and mobile applications.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NYCHA projects.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience with HVAC controls, boiler/chiller systems, or building automation systems.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel.
- SST-62 Certification.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
