MERCH LEAD

Job Description

Merchandising Leads (MLs) support the operations of merchandising departments. MLs will work in the Garden Department during spring and early summer and will transition to other merchandising departments as assigned by the Store Manager and based on the needs of the business. MLs work with the MASM and DS's to provide a better associate experience and ensure outstanding service to customers. MLs are responsible for helping customers, in-aisle tasking, and recovery activities, and in partnership with the MASM and DS will assist with associate support, training, and tasking delegation, as directed by the Department Supervisor. MLs must be lift equipment certified and operate equipment such as forklifts and order pickers to bring down merchandise safely from the overhead locations to the sales floor. MLs are responsible for providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards.
