ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Cordially greet and interact with guests. Assist guests in determining type of merchandise desired
- Interact with guests to create an environment that encourages the guest to play the game
- Provide information in person and via telephone regarding products, services of retail stores and general information within the park
- Demonstrate or explain to the guests how the game is played to ensure that the guests fully understand the rules of the game and exactly what constitutes a "win"
- Collect fee for playing game and supply guest with game equipment, such as toss rings or balls
- Set up products in the stores and carts
- Receive and retrieve boxed stock to or from stockroom/understock areas for retail display and sales promotion. Clean and repair booths, and keep equipment in serviceable condition
- Monitor inventory and make sure shelves are stocked through out the day
- Answer questions that guest may have regarding product
- Receive payment of cash, credit card, checks or travelers checks and make correct change
- Wrap or bag merchandise for guests
- Distribute prizes to customers who win games
- Perform all job duties in a safe/responsible manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have full availability including weekends and holidays
- Must have good communication skills
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- Must be able to get to "hard to reach" areas; stooping; bending, crawling may be required
- Must have the following abilities to satisfactorily perform the Essential Job Functions:
- carrying, pushing, pilling, lifting, gripping, grasping and holding objects weighing at least 50 lbs
- occasional sitting, prolonged standing or walking
- occasional bending, kneeling and reaching above shoulders
- following written and oral instructions
- Utilizing strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
