Title: Assortment Planner
Pay: $40.00-$42.85
Hours: Monday Friday; 8:00AM 5:00PM
Location: Beaverton, OR 97005 (Onsite at PHK; Fridays Remote)
Duration: 2 month contract
Overview
Seeking an Assortment Planner to support retail planning, inventory management, forecasting, and pricing strategies. This role partners closely with merchandising and business teams to develop financial plans, analyze business performance, and provide actionable insights that drive profitability and consumer-focused product assortments.

Job Description
  • Develop and maintain seasonal and in-season sales, inventory, and assortment plans.
  • Support product forecasting and pricing processes through reporting, analysis, and actionable insights.
  • Manage weekly forecast variance reporting.
  • Build and maintain planning reports and dashboards.
  • Manage weekly markdown processes and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Monitor marketplace pricing and recommend adjustments aligned with pricing strategy.
  • Support monthly and seasonal inventory planning activities.
  • Manage product lifecycles, aging inventory, and closeout strategies.
  • Analyze business performance and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Present financial plans, forecasts, and business strategies to cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, planning, and business teams to support organizational goals.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 2 3 years of professional experience.
  • Retail planning, merchandising, inventory management, or related experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize information from multiple sources and create sustainable processes.
  • Experience conducting weekly business reviews, buyer reviews, and inventory planning activities.
  • Power BI or Tableau experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience with Nike.
  • Retail industry experience.
  • SQL or Snowflake experience.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong data visualization skills.
