Merchandise Preparation Assistant

Did you know that you can volunteer while helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership? We are looking for people to help our store run smoothly. As a Merchandise Preparation Assistant, you will get to see all of our merchandise that we are getting in while you volunteer. It's a win-win! You will help us clean, sort, price and place merchandie out of the sales floor.

Volunteer Shifts (flexibility is available) You will first need to attend an orientation. You can find those on our webiste at www.greenbayhabitat.org Look for Habitat Volunteer Orientation. Click on the day and time that works for you and create an online account.

Tuesday - Friday: 8:30 to 12:30 or 12:30 to 4:30 or 4 to 6

Saturday: 9 am-1 pm or 1 pm-5 pm

Merchandise Prep Roles & Responsibilities:

• Customer Service
• Answer customer and donor questions as needed
• Merchandising
• Price, organize, and place merchandise in appropriate departments
• Clean merchandise

Desired Skills & Experience

• 14 & under volunteer with a parent or guardian
• Ages 15+ may volunteer on their own
• Cheerful and upbeat customer service skills
• Staff support is always available to assist with questions
