Merchandiser

Chipton-Ross is seeking a reliable and motivated Merchandiser for a full-time contract opportunity in Aston, PA. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and ensuring products are displayed and stocked to the highest standards in retail environments.

Position Overview

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring products are properly stocked, rotated, displayed, and maintained in both large and small format retail stores. You will play a key role in supporting sales growth by maintaining product availability and delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Merchandising Support

• Stock, rotate, and replenish products from back stock to shelves, displays, and cold storage locations.
• Review product code dates during every store visit and ensure product freshness.
• Remove damaged, dented, dirty, or expired products from displays and shelves.
• Ensure products are placed according to established shelf schematics and merchandising standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays.
• Ensure all racks, coolers, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising equipment are clean, current, and presented professionally.
• Report out-of-stock, damaged, or expired products to the appropriate account representative.
• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with store personnel and customers.
• Service assigned retail locations safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Required Qualifications

• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Reliable personal vehicle available for business use.
• Minimum required automobile insurance coverage.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and manage a route effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience preferred.
• Experience in retail, stocking, grocery, beverage, or consumer products environments.
• Additional language skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory, products, and promotional materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout retail locations during scheduled shifts.
