We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Merchandise Manager to support our retail operations. This role plays a key part in shaping the guest experience through exceptional customer service, creative merchandising, inventory controls, and seamless shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide welcoming, professional service to guests. • Manage merchandise operations, including: • Receiving and processing invoices in Golf365 Premiere software. • Leading monthly inventory counts with departmental staff. • Keeping accurate inventory valuation. • Designing and maintaining attractive, sales-driven merchandise displays. • Work closely with assigned Area Retail Manager regarding reporting and assortment. • As needed, attending merchandise and trade shows to place seasonal purchase orders. • Promoting sales through creative advertising and promotions. • Supporting daily golf shop operations, including: • Booking tee times via Golf365 Premiere Tee Time software. • Processing payments for merchandise and golf rounds through Golf365 Premiere POS. • Answering phones and assisting with inquiries. • Promoting campus programs, events, and activities. • Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Publisher for reporting and merchandising support.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude. Experience with Golf365 Premiere, Golf Genius, and website administration preferred. College degree preferred.
