Role Description

The Merchandising Assistant is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Dayton, OH. This position supports the accuracy, presentation, and organization of store merchandise. Daily responsibilities include price updates, inventory entry, promotional signage creation, and SKU maintenance. The role also assists with basic merchandising by organizing shelves, rotating stock, and ensuring products are displayed clearly and professionally.

The Merchandising Assistant collaborates closely with store staff to maintain smooth operations, support replenishment, and uphold consistent presentation standards. Additional tasks may include preparing simple summaries related to inventory accuracy or pricing updates and helping maintain a clean, customer‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

\n

• Effective communication abilities for coordinating with store teams

\n

• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs as part of stocking and replenishment

\n

• Familiarity with POS/ERP systems preferred

\n

• Prior retail or inventory experience beneficial

\n

• Basic proficiency with office software (spreadsheets, word processing)

• Reliable work ethic and ability to follow structured processes

• High school diploma required; college education in business, marketing, or design preferred
