A Kforce client in Manhattan Beach, CA is currently seeking a Merchandising Coordinator for an onsite contract role.
Summary:
The Merchandising Coordinator will support the day-to-day management of online search, merchandising, and product discovery experiences across ecommerce platforms. This individual will be responsible for optimizing site search functionality, maintaining merchandising rules, monitoring search performance, and enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain search redirects to improve customer navigation and product discovery
- Create and manage merchandising rules, including product boosting, burying, and pinning for targeted search experiences
- Maintain search synonyms to improve search relevance and increase product findability
- Set up and monitor A/B tests to optimize search and merchandising performance
- Update trending search terms and recommendations based on customer behavior and business priorities
- Monitor and troubleshoot zero-result searches, identifying opportunities for optimization or escalating technical issues as needed
- Manage support tickets and collaborate with technical teams to resolve search-related issues
- Configure and maintain product badging and promotional indicators within the ecommerce platform
- Support product recommendation initiatives and coordinate updates with merchandising and ecommerce teams
- Analyze search performance and make recommendations to improve the online customer experience
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Experience supporting ecommerce search, merchandising, or digital retail operations
- Experience managing merchandising rules, search configurations, and site content updates
- Understanding of search optimization, product discovery, and ecommerce best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Experience with Bloomreach or similar ecommerce search and merchandising platforms
- Experience conducting A/B testing and analyzing results
- Familiarity with online retail environments and customer experience optimization
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ecommerce environment
- Contract position (maternity leave coverage)
- Fully onsite in Manhattan Beach, CA
- Opportunity to support a high-traffic ecommerce environment and contribute to customer experience initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
