We have an opportunity available for a Merchandising Data Specialist to work within our Category Management Team. The Merchandising Data Specialist will be responsible for maintaining product data integrity, including costing, pricing, rebate management, and product setup across multiple systems and sales channels. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and complete product information is available to customers while supporting initiatives that drive sales growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to learn category management from the ground up and opens the door for future advancement.
What you will do:
Maintain accurate product data, costing, pricing, and rebate information across multiple systems
Process product cost and price updates while supporting margin and profitability goals
Manage new product setup and ensure product information is complete and accurate
Monitor and audit product data across ERP, PIM, and online sales channels
Maintain product records, including SKU transitions and discontinued item management
Analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvements and margin growth
Serve as a key resource for Sales, E-Commerce, Marketing, and Category Management on product data and pricing questions
Support Category Managers with reporting, analysis, competitive research, and special projects

What we need:
Associate's Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience within a distribution company
Experience in a support, administrative, data management, or related role
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and business systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Foodservice industry experience
Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, AutoQuotes, or product information management systems
