Your Impact

As a Merchandising Field Execution Intern at Lowe’s, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the successful rollout of merchandising strategies from concept to store execution. You’ll collaborate with corporate teams and field leadership to ensure in-store initiatives — such as planogram updates, product resets, and promotional displays — are executed efficiently and consistently across Lowe’s 1,700+ locations. Your work will contribute to project coordination, process improvements, and the alignment of merchandising objectives with store capabilities, giving you firsthand insight into large-scale retail execution.

This internship is ideal for individuals interested in blending strategic planning with operational field support.

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26 – July 31, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. What You Will Learn

• How field execution teams support the implementation of merchandising strategies at the store level.
• Tools and methodologies for planning and tracking in-store execution (planograms, resets, seasonal transitions).
• How to assess execution readiness and develop materials and timelines to support rollout success.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Merchandising, Store Operations, and Field Leadership.
• How to evaluate execution performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
• The importance of operational efficiency and customer experience in retail merchandising.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Previous experience in retail, operations, or project coordination (academic or professional).
• Familiarity with retail store processes or merchandising execution.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.
• Interest in learning how strategy and execution intersect in a national retail setting.
