Description Weyerhaeuser's TOPS yard, based out of Springfield, OR has an opening for a Merchandising Specialist, with experience operating log loading equipment. We are seeking individuals who desire to work in a market-focused log processing environment. This is a full-time, hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Vacation, and Holidays. Rate of pay is $31.59 per hour. Key Functions: Proficiently operate loading shovel to sort logs and load trucks Make daily adjustments to maximize efficient yard processes, dictated by business needs (weather, labor, truck schedule etc.) Become efficient with apps and other systems/technology as required Assist with equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as needed
