What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Merchant Certification Analyst within our SVS division. This position is based out of Louisville, KY. In this role, you will provide support for new and existing client and/or the clients vendors, through all phases of technical readiness, and aid and assist clients in the preparation for testing and certification. This includes maintaining testing logs and scripts, database configuration and acting as the lead on resolving technical issues for and with clients and their vendors when integrating with our authorization server.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Maintaining the certification environment and provide both internal and external clients with technical support. Make decisions regarding the set up and technical support of new and existing clients.
  • Maintaining support logs and supporting administrative functions such as bin range setup and allocation.
  • Generating test card orders and fulfill test card orders in-house when applicable.
  • Configuring database for new and existing clients' setup, monitor support inbox to answer client questions or help in troubleshooting issues.
  • Assuming lead role in testing clients' end to end. Ensure the online and/or batch stream in a controlled environment, mirroring production controls and procedures.
  • Serving as the overall technical consultant for clients seeking to install, upgrade, or change their online authorization interfaces and/or batch file-based processes.
  • Recommending program improvements or corrections to programmers. Supports the client and/or the clients vendors managing all test requirements ensuring clients applications interfacing with our servers are production-ready, error free, and in compliance with processing standards and technical requirements prior to production installation.
  • Providing support to providers (switches, POS vendors and integrators) and assistance for POS problems.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration is required; 3 to 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires a basic understanding of online message layering, TCP/IP, SSL or HTTPS protocols, an understanding of networking components, and FTP process. Experience with mainframe systems.
  • Must possess clear understanding of client server relationships and ability to apply knowledge of the entire gift card authorization process, including card production, batch jobs, and other system interfaces. Knowledge of SQL, Restful Webservices ISO8583, SOAP based webservices, HP Nonstop and Unix systems, basic data communications, and an understanding of logical mapping and message flow.
  • Must possess attention to detail, strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and a thorough knowledge of all products, services and functionality.
  • Troubleshooting skills to research errors in the clients' incoming messages as well as database inconsistencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Multi-lingual would be a plus.
