The AmeriCorps VISTA member will develop and maintain a comprehensive community referral network that connects Mercy Dental Missions patients to healthcare, behavioral health, housing, food assistance, transportation, faith-based resources, and other support services. The member will research community resources, build partnerships with local organizations, and create systems to ensure referral information remains current and accessible. In addition, the member will support capacity-building activities including community outreach, oral health education, fundraising events, donor engagement, marketing and social media efforts, patient impact storytelling, data collection, program reporting, and evaluation. Through these activities, the VISTA member will strengthen organizational capacity and improve access to resources for underserved individuals and families.
