Job Summary (MES PBA Business Quality Assurance Analyst)
- Serve as a Quality Assurance Analyst for the DHHS Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Program within the Pharmacy Benefits Administrator (PBA) Business space.
- Responsible for implementing and supporting the PBA application for DHB Pharmacy Business.
- Assess testability of business requirements and provide guidance in developing test cases and scenarios.
- Validate test results to ensure alignment with business objectives and vision.
- Perform quality assurance activities across various testing stages, including Integration, User Acceptance, Regression, and State End-to-End Testing.
- Collaborate with PBA project team, product owners, business leads, and end users to ensure thorough product deliverables and complete user acceptance testing.
- Use test and defect management tools such as MF ALM and JIRA.
- Apply Agile methodology and Scrum practices in daily activities.
- Validate and define business expectations for automation testing scenarios.
- Analyze requirements and identify use cases and test case scenarios in collaboration with production managers and product owners.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare functions and business segments, especially Medicaid, Health Care, Managed Care, and pharmacy-related functional areas.
- Provide feedback to senior decision-makers to support long-term product strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and CMS MITA Framework.
- Support the product lifecycle from conception through implementation, adhering to product management guidelines.
- Deliver training (in-person, virtual, or via conference calls) on product knowledge and implementation.
- Maintain and manage all product artifacts to achieve business goals and support the launch of new features and systems.
- Familiarity with CMS Certification processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Adobe software.
- Handle HIPAA and PII data securely.
- Gather and interpret data from interviews, observations, surveys, and documentation.
- Experience using or implementing Cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is highly desired.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
