    Description

    This role will begin in Tempe/Scottsdale, but after ~1 year will be working in North PhoenixRequired Skills & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field3+ years of experience in manufacturing IT, factory automation, or semiconductor manufacturing systemsHands-on experience with MES and system integration (CIM/EAP/RMS)Experience supporting production manufacturing systemsUnderstanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and shop floor operations (or strong adjacent manufacturing experience)Experience with system configuration, integration, and deployment (vs heavy development)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in real-world manufacturing environmentsAbility to collaborate across cross-functional teams (manufacturing, IT, automation, vendors)Nice to Have Skills & Experience:Experience with Applied Materials (AMAT) manufacturing software platformsExperience supporting MES or automation systems in a semiconductor fab, assembly, or test facilityExposure to factory system rollout or implementation projectsFamiliarity with equipment interfaces (EAP/SECS-GEM) and material handling systems (AMHS/OHT)Basic knowledge of SPC/FDC, quality systems, or analytics/AI/ML in manufacturingJob Description:The MES & Factory Automation Software Engineer plays a key role in implementing and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), CIM, automation, and AI-enabled manufacturing systems for a greenfield semiconductor factory. This position focuses on system configuration, integration, and deployment, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to build stable, scalable, and highly automated production systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop manufacturing system solutions aligned with business and production requirementsConfigure, test, and support MES and related manufacturing applicationsIntegrate MES with CIM, equipment automation (EAP/SECS-GEM), and enterprise systems (ERP, data platforms)Maintain manufacturing master data including process flows, recipes, equipment, and materialsSupport integration with automation systems (AMHS, OHT) and factory equipmentParticipate in system testing phases (SIT, UAT), go-live, and post-go-live stabilizationTroubleshoot system issues impacting manufacturing operations and ensure system reliabilityValidate data flow including WIP tracking, dispatching logic, and recipe managementCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors (AMAT, Siemens, etc.)Document system configurations, enhancements, and operational proceduresCompensation:$84-115k per year annual salary + annual bonusExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefits Include:Medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, PTO, VTO, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, EAP, HSA, FSA, life insurance, and more!#J-18808-Ljbffr
