Hiring: MES Senior Consultant / Engineer 
Location: Remote – EST Time Zone
️ Travel: 1 week per month

We are looking for an experienced MES Senior Consultant / Engineer to serve as the key liaison between SAP S/4HANA and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP-MES integration and Werum (Körber) MES upgrades, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead comprehensive MES upgrade assessments, including current-state capabilities, configurations, interfaces, performance, and scalability.
-Evaluate MES vendor releases and provide upgrade readiness assessments, executive summaries, recommendations, and roadmaps.
-Align MES upgrade activities with SAP S/4HANA milestones.
-Coordinate SAP and MES testing schedules, test data, SIT, E2E, regression, and performance testing.
-Facilitate end-to-end manufacturing processes across SAP and MES, including production orders, confirmations, backflush, material staging, scrap/rework, genealogy, quality, and batch/serial management.
-Translate manufacturing requirements into SAP/MES functional and integration specifications.
-Partner with solution architects to define integration patterns using APIs, IDocs, middleware, and eventing.
-Drive master data alignment across SAP and MES, including materials, BOMs, routings/recipes, work centers, and production versions.
-Manage integrated workplans, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across SAP, MES, and middleware teams.
Support cutover planning, fallback strategies, downtime analysis, and production readiness.

Ideal Background:
Strong experience with Werum / Körber MES
Proven SAP S/4HANA–MES integration experience
Experience leading or supporting MES upgrade assessments and implementations
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor systems
Experience with SAP/MES testing, integration validation, and data reconciliation
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
