 TITLE: Office Assistant DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists with general office duties such as filing, sorting mail, answering phones, making public address announcements.Orders office supplies such as copy paper, consumable supplies, and instructional supplies.Responsible for contact with the copier companies and telephone companies for general maintenance, repair and installation.General clerical work as requested by administration.Responsible for ordering various items for faculty and consumables such as needed in teachers work room.Enters data or other school related information using computers.Monitoring and verification of shipment received through mail or other mode of delivery to insure that the shipment matches up with the original Purchase Order.Maintains sense of professionalism with all staff, students, board members, parents, and community, also follows professional dress code.All other duties deemed necessary by administration. REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of tribal schools and the BIA. QUALIFICATIONS:.Ability to interpret, apply and communicate applicable federal, state, and tribal procedures pertaining to basic school operations.Trained on FMIS BIA system and knowledgeable on its operation.
