At A Glance:
As a Meta Retail Specialist, you'll support a set territory of Meta retail displays on a part-time schedule — handling routine maintenance, minor repairs, installations, and display refreshes, along with core merchandising tasks like inventory replenishment and planogram (POG) compliance. You'll work independently using basic hand tools, following manufacturer standards to keep displays functional and on-brand. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling based on market and program needs, with mileage and drive time paid per company policy.
This position offers 3-15 hours a week with a standard Monday-Friday schedule. Scheduled work must be completed by 6 pm. Occasional weekend work may be required, with advance notice provided.

What You'll Do:
- Execute scheduled service visits across an assigned route of retail locations, adhering to established schedules and program requirements
- Consistently complete assigned work according to established schedules and minimize unnecessary rescheduling
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to maintain full functionality and performance of assigned displays
- Execute installations, display builds, and refreshes, including fixturing, cabling, media players, and security components
- Manage and complete ad-hoc service requests within 48–72-hour SLAs, where required
- Ensure full compliance with planograms (POG), brand standards, and display requirements across all locations
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and help implement lasting solutions
- Accurately document and report all service activity, outcomes, and insights on time
- Perform merchandising tasks including inventory replenishment, POP placement, and pricing/fact tag execution
- Manage and reconcile trunk stock inventory, ensuring appropriate replacement parts are available to support efficient service delivery and first-time fix success
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with in-store personnel
- Participate in team calls, client interactions as required, and field ride-alongs to support program success
- Complete administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness, including scheduling and same-day reporting
- Adapt to evolving business needs and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies, required training, certifications, and professional standards
What You'll Bring:
Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with display installations, merchandising, and planogram execution preferred
- Comfortable using basic hand tools to maintain displays
- Experience or aptitude for diagnosing and resolving physical display issues, including lighting components, fixtures, and non-functioning buttons
- Experience or aptitude for identifying and resolving basic electronic and connectivity issues, including cabling, power, and component integration
Skills and Attributes:
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with store personnel and internal teams
- Ability to manage your assigned route, prioritize your workload, and meet service SLAs with periodic support and guidance
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering quality work and good customer service
- Willingness to learn basic problem-solving techniques with a focus on identifying and addressing root causes
- Comfortable performing, or willing to learn, basic troubleshooting, installation, and repair tasks across hardware, displays, and connected systems (full training provided)
- Must commit to completing the market area's minimum weekly hours or special project hours request
- Able to read POG schematics and wiring diagrams and correctly connect components (training provided)
- Proficient using your personal smartphone/tablet with GPS functionality to upload photos, report assignment data, reference documents while in-store, and schedule visits
- Ability to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines, with access to reliable transportation
- Must have a basic toolkit that includes a multi-screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle-nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo gone
Availability and Logistics
- Travel up to 30–60 miles with paid drive time and mileage per company policy
- Willingness and ability to travel for 2–3 days to participate in in-person training
- Available to meet the market area's minimum weekly hours request, with a flexible schedule based on program needs
- All hours and shifts comply with state and local requirements for wages, hours, overtime, and rest break guidelines
