POSITION SUMMARY:
The MBS Clinical Reviewer timely and accurately collects and enters data into the MBSAQIP Data Registry Platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational and administrative duties:
- Ensure that case and follow up data are entered into the platform within the prescribed data entry timeframes
- Retrieve and enter long-term follow-up data on a compounding number of patients over time
- Fulfill requests for patient data
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all patient/personnel information
- Participate as a member of the MBS Committee
Attend at least 2 meetings annually
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of online initial training
- Maintenance of certification
Completion of ongoing training
Completion of annual certifying exam
Compliance with data audits
- Adequate clinical knowledge and an understanding of patient care
- Ability to utilize hospital information systems
- Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office
Skills and Abilities:

- Effective time management skills
