Metal Assembler

Position Summary

Ace Metal is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Spool Assembler to join our production team. This role involves assembling metal spools and related components to specification, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble metal spools and related components according to work instructions and drawings
• Perform spot welding operations (preferred experience) to secure components
• Use hand tools, jigs, and basic fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with other shop or production tasks as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• Required:
• Previous experience in metal works assembly (must-have)
• Ability to read basic drawings or follow assembly instructions
• Familiarity with hand tools and manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Preferred:
• Experience with spot welding
• Working knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus (helpful for some team communication)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
• Repetitive use of hands and tools
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment

Compensation

• Hourly wage based on experience
