Metal Cutting and Prep Operator — True Fab & Powder (Chandler, AZ)
Role snapshot
Operate and support core fabrication processes that keep our production line running. This shop-floor position is ideal for mechanically inclined problem-solvers who enjoy hands-on work and learning new equipment.
Schedule
6AM - 4:30 PM, Monday thru Thursday
Core responsibilities
- Set up and operate band saws and cold saws to cut raw materials to spec.
- Perform basic layout and measurement using a tape measure and standard metrology tools.
- Prepare materials for secondary operations to maintain production flow.
- Provide general shop and production support where needed.
- Prep components for powder coating as assigned.
Training pathway
With strong performance and initiative, you may be trained on:
- CNC vertical machining centers
- CNC turning centers
- CNC press brakes
- Other fabrication and production equipment
What you bring
- No prior industry experience required.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability (on time, every time).
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort learning equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adhere to shop procedures.
