About the Role

Step onto a busy shop floor where precision and pace go hand-in-hand. From the first measurement you pull to the final quality check, you’ll shape raw metal into finished components used in windows and doors. You’ll rely on your tape measure, steady hands, and familiarity with power tools to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

A Day in the Life

Your shift starts by reviewing work instructions and measurements. You’ll measure and cut materials accurately, operate drills, hammers, and table saws, and then assist with fabricating and assembling metal products, including windows and doors. Throughout the day, you’ll move heavy stock across the production area, inspect finished pieces for accuracy, and keep your station clean and organized—all while following safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Read, verify, and translate measurements into precise cuts using a tape measure and related tools.
• Operate hand and power tools (drills, hammers, table saws, etc.) with care and consistency.
• Assist in fabricating and assembling metal products—particularly for window and door applications.
• Lift, carry, and stage heavy materials across the production floor safely.
• Follow work instructions and safety protocols without exception.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a tidy, well-organized workspace.
• Contribute to throughput in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Support other general fabrication/manufacturing tasks as needed.

What You Bring

• Background in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or similar work (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with measuring tapes, drills, hammers, table saws, and related tools.
• Comfort working with metal and handling heavy materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
• Keen attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Commitment to safe, efficient work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
