Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements.
- Operate various metal fabrication tools and machinery, including saws, and CNC machines.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to project specifications.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
- Assist in the training of new employees on fabrication techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metal fabrication is a plus.
- Proven experience as a metal fabricator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in operating metal fabrication tools and machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
