Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team in Joplin, MO. This role is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing metal components according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
The ideal Metal Fabricator has fabrication experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Experience & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 3 years of metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
Welding experience or certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using hand tools and fabrication equipment
Operate saws, grinders, presses, cutting torches, and related machinery
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required
Assemble metal parts and structures according to specifications
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Preferred Qualifications
Welding certification or documented welding experience
Experience with CNC equipment or automated fabrication machinery
Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal materials
Work Environment

Exposure to fabrication equipment, welding operations, and industrial materials
