Job Title: Metal Fabricator

Location: York, PA

Type: Direct Hire

Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Hours: 6am-2pm or 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, OT as needed

Responsibilities

• Interpret layout drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Use measuring devices to mark holes and cutouts on enclosures and backplates.
• Operate drills, taps, punches, and saws for mounting and access holes.
• Label and assemble backplate components.
• Prepare enclosures for painting.
• Assist with wiring per electrical schematics.
• Transfer drawing layouts, drill, punch, and cut metal enclosures and backplates.
• Gather appropriate parts for panel build, read electrical schematics, create markers, and wire panels.
• Help prepare panels for testing and painting, and provide shop support.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in metalworking or equivalent.
• Proficiency in transferring layout drawings to enclosures.
• Competence in using metal fabrication tools for accurate hole-making.
• Basic understanding of electrical components.
• Experience with power tools such as drills, taps, punches, and saws.
• Ability to read measuring tools in metric, fractional, and decimal formats.
• Must provide own hand tools and workboots.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must pass a physical examination.
