Location: Villa Rica / Douglasville Area, GA
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM | Half Day Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Metal Finisher / Finishing Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in the Villa Rica/Douglasville area. This position is responsible for preparing metal components for assembly and finishing by buffing, grinding, routing, sanding, polishing, and cleaning machined parts while maintaining quality and production standards.
GOOD Job stability that is verifiable is a must!
Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent manufacturing experience and previous experience in metal finishing or a related production environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Buff, grind, sand, polish, and finish machined metal parts to meet quality standards.
Prepare components for assembly, coating, or outside processing.
Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, buffers, and other finishing equipment safely.
Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure all quality specifications are met.
Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing instructions.
Report damaged materials, quality concerns, or production issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
Move materials and finished products throughout the production area as needed.
Assist other production departments when necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent manufacturing experience is REQUIRED.
Previous experience in metal finishing, grinding, buffing, polishing, or fabrication required.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and finishing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to read work instructions and follow manufacturing processes.
Dependable with a stable work history and excellent attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull as required.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
2+ years of recent manufacturing experience REQUIRED
Metal finishing experience REQUIRED
Background check required
10-panel drug screen required
Steel toe boots required
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance required.
