Job DescriptionRole OverviewAs a Metal Finisher, you will operate hand and power tools and/or equipment in order to grind welds and finish metal parts to company standards. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and ensure all parts meet our high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate hand and power tools to grind welds and finish stainless steel parts to top-tier company standards.Utilize a variety of equipment including 4" angle grinders, air tools, polishing pedestals, belt sanders and surfoxing equipment.Perform stud welding, light assembly, bead blasting, and custom polishing.Set up your work area for ergonomic part handling, safety, and optimal positioning.Conduct visual and touch inspections to catch and correct defects like dents, scratches, or breaks before parts move to shipping.Maintain and clean air tools (including oiling) and keep your station orderly.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to match strict part requirements.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required. Technical Certification or Diploma from a technical college preferred.Experience: 1 year of relevant metal finishing or fabrication experience.Skills: Strong time management, problem-solving, basic mathematics, and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures accurately.Work Style: Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working alone with little or no direction.
