As a Metal Finisher, you'll work directly with titanium castings, using grinding tools and equipment to remove imperfections, blend welds, and prepare components to meet our quality standards.

What You'll Do

As a Metal Finisher I, you'll use a variety of tools and techniques to remove imperfections and defects from titanium castings while maintaining our standards for quality and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate pneumatic hand grinders to remove imperfections from titanium castings.
• Operate belt grinding equipment to surface grind and blend welds.
• Use appropriate measuring tools to verify parts meet requirements.
• Measure parts and visually inspect castings for defects.
• Properly identify and mark castings as required.
• Ensure the correct paperwork stays with castings throughout the manufacturing process.
• Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow established procedures, technical instructions, and safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for dependable people who are hands-on, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.

Successful candidates will be able to:

• Follow written instructions, including technical cards, routers, and other approved work instructions.
• Maintain strong attention to visual and dimensional details.
• Balance quality and productivity while meeting production requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Follow verbal direction from trainers and supervisors.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistent attendance.
• Maintain a stable employment history, including more than one year of recent continuous employment.
• Have a high school diploma or GED; candidates without a diploma or GED who have relevant experience may be considered.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be willing to complete a pre-employment background check.
• Be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.

Work Environment

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. You'll spend your day working with titanium castings, grinding equipment, and other manufacturing tools and equipment.

The ability to stay focused, follow safety procedures, and maintain attention to detail is important to success in this role.

Swing Shift – Monday–Thursday | 4 x 10-hour shifts
$1.00/hour shift differential

OR

Weekend Day Shift – Friday–Sunday | 3 x 12-hour shifts
$1.25/hour shift differential
