Metal Grinder / Finishing Operator

We are hiring a Metal Grinder / Finishing Operator to join a metal fabrication manufacturing team. This position will focus on grinding, deburring, and finishing metal parts to meet quality and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts and components
• Operate handheld grinders and other metal finishing tools and equipment
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, weld spatter, and excess material from finished parts
• Smooth and prepare metal surfaces according to work instructions and quality requirements
• Inspect finished parts for defects and proper finish
• Use basic measuring tools to verify parts as needed
• Safely handle and move metal components throughout the work area
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous grinding, deburring, metal finishing, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience using handheld grinders, power tools, or similar equipment
• Comfortable working with various metal parts and materials
• Basic measuring and inspection skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Previous experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment is a plus
