Metal Stamping Press Operator

We're looking for an experienced Metal Stamping Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. If you're someone who enjoys working with precision equipment, takes pride in producing high-quality parts, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll operate and set up mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses while helping ensure our products meet the highest standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. You'll work alongside experienced manufacturing professionals who are committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and adjust mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses for production runs.
  • Perform die setups, changeovers, alignments, and machine adjustments to optimize quality and productivity.
  • Inspect first-article and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify quality or production issues before they impact output.
  • Complete production documentation, quality inspections, and work orders accurately.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Partner with Quality, Tooling, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to continuously improve production processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and workplace organization.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience operating metal stamping presses in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with progressive dies, die setup, and changeovers.
  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and production specifications.
  • Comfortable using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to producing quality work with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; manufacturing or technical training is a plus.
