Is This You?
Do complex blueprints make sense to you at a glance? Do you thrive orchestrating large-press changeovers—progressive dies, draws, forms—so production launches on time and hits spec? Are you energized by coaching others while chasing safer, faster, more reliable setups?
Mission of the Role
Own the setup and operation of large stamping presses to consistently deliver quality parts, on schedule, and to customer requirements—while elevating team capability and driving continuous improvement.
What Success Looks Like
Changeovers are planned via the dispatch display and executed without delays because materials and tooling are staged in advance.
Tooling—draws, forms, progressive dies—is installed and dialed in quickly, with first-piece approval supported by precision measurements (calipers, micrometers, tape measure).
Issues are solved at the source through root cause analysis and quick coordination with toolroom and maintenance.
Materials and parts are inspected and correctly labeled every time.
Work instructions are captured and updated so repeat runs are predictable and consistent.
Production and quality data are accurately entered into the company data collection system.
The work area reflects strong 5S standards and safety compliance.
Level I and II operators gain skills through your mentorship.
