Ensure procedures and product/process control across the Sheet Department
Resolve quality issues and evaluate products, processes, and equipment based on customer requirements
Support product and process development for a 24/7 aluminum rolling mill manufacturing environment
Collaborate with support staff, shift leaders, and the hourly workforce to drive continuous improvement
Apply engineering fundamentals — statistical methods, physical and mechanical metallurgy, phase diagrams, thermodynamics, and material processing — to production challenges
Support quality systems work (IATF16949 or AS9100) and lean manufacturing initiatives where applicable
