Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a global leader in advanced manufacturing to identify a Metallurgical Engineering Superintendent—a high-impact leadership role responsible for metallurgical excellence, product integrity, and customer outcomes.
This is a plant-wide leadership position where your expertise directly influences quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading metallurgical practices and product availability strategy
Driving new product development and technical qualification efforts
Managing and developing a team of engineers and technicians
Overseeing non-conformance resolution and customer claims
Partnering with production, sales, and customers
Driving quality systems and metallurgical capability improvements
What Makes You a Strong Fit:
Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or Materials Engineering
5+ years in manufacturing quality/metallurgy
3+ years of leadership experience
Strong customer-facing and technical communication skills
Bonus:
Aluminum or metals manufacturing experience
ISO / IATF quality systems experience
Strong data analysis (Minitab, etc.)
