This role requires proficiency in multiple welding processes pipe fit ting and fabric ation techniques in order to build or repair piping assemblies for industrial projects. Safety and precision are critical. Essential Functions • Weld steel pipes using SMAW stick GTAW TIG GMAW MIG or FCAW processes . • Fabricate and assemble pipe spools fittings and supports from raw materials. • Perform tack welding grinding beveling and prep work . • Cut bend and thread pipes using saws torches or plasma cutters . • Read and interpret isometric drawings shop drawings welding symbols and P&IDs. • Mark layout reference points for cuts and welds . • Accurately measure and fit steel pipes to required dimensions and angles . • Align and secure sections using clamps wedges or jigs before welding . • Perform visual and mechanical inspection of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards. • Maintain and follow WPS Welding Procedure Specifications . • Use appropriate PPE and follow OSHA safety protocols at all times .
