Machine Operator – Metal Fabrication Facility!
Position Overview:
Our metal fabrication facility is seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to support daily production across multiple departments. This role works with various metal-processing equipment and requires strong attention to detail, safe material handling, and experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment. Operators may assist with machines such as cutting, forming, finishing, or general production equipment depending on daily workflow needs.
Shifts Available:
- 5am – 1pm
- 1pm – 9pm
Pay:
- $18 - $22, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate assigned production machinery safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and stage metal materials for processing
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
- Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures
- Assist with general fabrication tasks as directed by supervisors
- Complete production logs, counts, and documentation accurately
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in metal fabrication machine operation
- Exposure to equipment such as press brake, fiber-optic laser, saws, cutting machines, forming machines, or similar production equipment
- Ability to read basic measurements, follow work instructions, and perform visual quality inspections
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment
Requirements:
- 1+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience (metal fabrication strongly preferred)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
- Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance
- Willingness to cross-train on multiple machines
