About Metrica

Rooted in a 17th-century workshop in Münster, Germany, Metrica has evolved into a global interior outfitter of superyachts, legacy-grade residences, and custom furniture. Across Germany, Austria, and the United States, our master makers, engineers, and project leaders combine craftsmanship, technical expertise, and material understanding to deliver custom interiors of exceptional detail and complexity.

Our work is guided by a commitment to enduring quality, thoughtful execution, and collaboration across every stage of the process.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Metalworker / Fabricator at any stage of their career, from those starting out to experienced craftspeople who takes pride in true craftsmanship and wants to create one-of-a-kind, high-end pieces. This role goes beyond standard fabrication, focusing on detailed, artisanal metalwork including forming, welding, and fine finishing to produce custom elements that are both functional and visually exceptional.

Depending on your experience, you’ll take on work ranging from foundational fabrication and finishing to leading complex builds and mentoring others.

Our projects are highly collaborative and often integrate metal with wood, stone, and other premium materials, requiring a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every piece.

Whether you’re building your skills or bringing years of experience, if you enjoy hands-on work, take satisfaction in precision and finish quality, and like seeing a project evolve from raw material into a refined final product, we’d love to meet you.

What We're Looking For

  • Entry-level candidates: training provided, focus on foundational skills

  • Mid-level candidates: ability to work independently from drawings

  • Experienced candidates: lead builds, troubleshoot, and support team development

Must Haves:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical training a plus)

  • Experience working with metals like steel, aluminum, brass (experience a bonus, or a strong interest in developing those skills)

  • Eagerness to learn and grow, or to deepen and share existing expertise

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Methodical, detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality

  • Team player who can also work independently

Nice to Haves:

  • Ability to read fabrication or technical drawings

  • Ability to take a project from concept to completion

  • Experience with welding, brazing, machining, or furniture/cabinetry building

  • Artistic eye and appreciation for fine craftsmanship

  • Onsite installation experience

  • Experience leading projects or mentoring junior team members

  • Management or supervisory experience

Why Metrica

At Metrica, you’ll be part of a hands-on workshop where craftsmanship, learning, and collaboration go hand in hand. Our work is highly custom and detail-driven, giving you the opportunity to build your skills across a range of techniques, materials, and projects.

You’ll work alongside experienced makers who take pride in their craft and are committed to sharing knowledge and supporting each other’s growth. We value curiosity, precision, and a willingness to learn, whether you’re developing new skills or refining the ones you already have.

Here, your work is seen, your contributions matter, and you’ll play a direct role in creating unique, high-quality pieces from start to finish.
