LCS is seeking a Metered Utilities Specialist whose primary function is to manage customer utilities and rate reviews.
Essential Functions
- Core functional knowledge of utility operations and rate schedules
- Ability to accurately read and interpret utility tariff sheets
- Foundational understanding of utility billing process and regulatory compliance
- Manage and complete all facets of assigned projects: define/create requirements specifications, scope of work documents and estimates; develop/deliver projects within established deadline
- Define, set, and clearly manage expectations with customers and team members.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure they are delivered on time and meet or exceed expectations
- Have a strong knowledge of mathematical and equation functions
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Eligibility Qualifications
- Experience calculating and interpreting utility usage
- Excellent customer service
- Strong diagnostic skills with ability to research, troubleshoot and logically determine solutions
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and appointments in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter
- Ability to ask appropriate discovery questions to gather project requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to navigate websites and investigate for project usage
